Cambelt cost

Can anyone tell me what a reasonable figure is for a change?

My friend called subaru and they quoted £400 just for the kit? What kit? I've seen the belts for £47.

Friend seems to think somewhere can do kits for about £175 - sound more realistic?

How long labour wise should this take too, need to get a figure in mind for total cost including labour and parts.

94 wrx import.

Cheers guys

Its about £400+ for a full 50k service inc. cambelt, so a cambelt fitment on its own should be cheaper. :wonder:

belts vary from £45 to £65 main dealer quoted me £200 to do the whole job, place in bristol quoted £145 for same job,my95 import.

for the £60 is it better to get the main dealer to do it, as its a genuine belt part,or are they really all the same belts made by the same people i wonder ?

it was a genuine belt the guy bought it for his scoob but crashed the car before he had chance to get it fitted
