Legacy advice needed please :-)

I've just bought a 1993 Legacy Twin Turbo saloon (EJ20) and I've heard a lot of horror stories about these engines. It has 47K miles on the clock and is a fresh Jap import.

Would you advise a warm-up period in the morning before I set off?
What oil is best to use and how often should it be changed?
What fuel is best to use? (BP Ultimate or normal unleaded with an additive?)
How often should this car be serviced and is it worth using a Subaru dealer?
What is most likely to go wrong with the TT unit?
What should I look out for?
Is it worth investing in a turbo timer?
How do I go about de-limiting it from 112 mph?
Speedo conversion? (Is this model electronic or mechanical?)
What sort of performance should I expect from this car?
What sort of MPG should I expect?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm paranoid about having to rebuild the engine.

I've dropped a cambelt, plugs and some semi-synthetic (Magnatec, I think it was 10-W40) off at the garage and hopefully they'll be able to sort all this out before I collect the car on Tuesday.
