Thinking of joining Ecurie25 the Supercar Club

I'm thinking about joining ecurie25 the supercar club. I hired a ferrari a couple of years back, and loved it. I'm keen to get behind the wheel of a their Murcielago!

Is anyone on scoobynet a member of ecurie25 or know any of their members?

They have an open evening on Monday with the cars on display if you are interested.

I'm thinking of joining too. If you just take cars in the week not at weekends as i do currently with the Classic car club then just a half membership will get you a lot of days in all the cars. Very tempted. Mileage restriction is annoying though, unless you take cars at weekends all the time you'll certainly run out of miles before you run out of points. I've taken Ferrari's, Astons, E-Types etc from the CCC (no mileage restrictions) and put 1000 miles on one in a week before. Do that a couple of times with Ecurie and your membership will soon be over.

I know the guys who run Ecurie 25- I've driven their Ferrari 430 Spyder - which is absolutely stunning (sounds better than the Lambo too!). We've just featured them in the latest issue of my mate's magazine (I do some editing and photography for him). Drop me a PM if you want anymore details.

They're nice aren't they ;) Had a good drive in one when a mate was testing it for a mag. Also been offered a day or two in one of Ecuries cars as a sweetener to rejoining CCC (as they share premises and help eachother out) which leads to a dilema over which one to have :D

:) A nice problem to have Nat. Fancy trying the Aston next (if I can persuade them ;) )

I'm confused, it says that joing fee is applicable in the first year only. Does that mean that you can pay £8700 once and then have 600 points per year for life? :wonder:

I think the joining fee is £750 Deep, then yearly after that is 7 odd grand etc.

Very pleasent dilema to have each week mind, Aston or Lambo.

Chris L 10 September 2006 09:43 AM

Peanuts is right. The joining fee is a one-off in the first year. You then pay the normal yearly subscription. If you have any unused points at the end of 12 months, then half of these will be carried over to the next year.

Forget what I said about the Aston, I fancy the Murcielago! You can see our magazine review on their press page (The Player) - Andie's editorial shot was done in E25's 430 :)
