Robbie Williams Live

Went to see Robbie last night at Hampden Park, Glasgow.
It was a 40th birthday treat for my good lady [she's a real fan/ i'm not although i thinks he's ok]
I thought it may be a night to remember but it was more than that, the show was brilliant to say the least and it's hard to imagine there's a better showman [i'm glad my wife is a fan or i would never have gone and been part of it]
Anyone else going to the other uk shows are in for a treat but i won't give anything away ;) other than it was 2 hours of sheer entertainment :D

As for the support acts Orson were good and Basement Jaxx were v.good :)

No doubt he is talented and a great showman but he's a fooking awful role model to youngster (i.e. his fan base).

No doubt he is a great performer but he needs guy chambers back -big time.

Did he play rockbox or whatever the heck it's called? What a piece of ****e that is....

I would say he's a good showman but far from talented, sings like he's chewing glass:D

Anyone seen his show doing Sinatra at the RAH. That was very good.

I saw him in Paris earlier this year and thought it was brilliant. Seeing him again this Friday in Leeds:D:thumb:

My missus and her pals were there on Friday night, thats her third time seeing him and she really enjoyed it,she also said that Basement Jaxx were brilliant.Traffic afterwards was murder i had the job of picking them up:confused: she said after singing his new song he pulled a few faces as if trying to guage a reaction to it,i think he probably knows the fans prefer his usual stuff.

agree, he'd have been better calling it dirtbox, more fitting.

I was there Saturday night too :thumb:

Travelled all the way from Harrogate to see him, but made a weekend of it by stopping in Troon for a couple of nights (the closest hotel we could find incidentally :eek:)

Absolutely fantastic night of entertainment. First time I've seen him before, definately want to see him again. The bits when he was talking about the ladies with their (.)(.) out was hilarious :D

In terms of entertaining, he really is in a class of his own.

Only downer of the night was getting out of the car park opposite ASDA - what a joke, took absolotely ages. Didn't seem like their was any organisation at all...

Off to see him this Friday at Roundhay. Saw him a couple of years back at Knebworth and that was great.

We were there on Sat night too. In the same carpark LOL
Moved 15 feet in 1 3/4 hours. i was on my way across the field to "discuss" things with the police when they finally got their act together and started things moving.
A journey that usually takes 1 hour took over 3 !!
Twas an excellent concert though I would recommend it to anyone fan or not.

I will be gong to milton keynes. One of my customers always supplies free tickets and backstage passes in exchange for free bottles of Amarone when he comes for dinner. I did however meet some people from other parts of Europe who had no idea that all of his concerts had moved from wembly to Milton keynes. I wonder how many dissapointed Germans will turn up a wembly?
