Anti Virus Software?

Whats the best Anti Virus software at the Moment?

Im currently using Norton anti virus 2005 but its up for renewal and tbh i was to impressed with it, made to computer run slow & took forever to run a full scan.

Any ideas on whats best?

Ive not had any problems with Avast Home Edition, and the great thing is its free! :)
