Hello to all!

Well, just like to stop in and say hi to everyone. I found this site while looking for tuning availability/dynos in Germany. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction;) Anyways, I am from Washington state originally, stationed in Bamberg Germany, and am typing from Iraq right now.:cuckoo: I own a 2005 WRB STi which I just recently purchased and it is on it's way to DE as we speak! Hopefully I can meet up with some Subie guys while I am stationed there!

Sure . . No problem there mate . .:norty:

. . . . .Just step outside the door . .Turn right . .Then turn left . . After a while , take the second right - and walk straight ahead! When you spot a sh*t hole, that means you're there! . .Well done!:thumb: . .And if you're in Iraq, please remember to dodge the Sniper! . .

. . .Hope this helps . . .

There is quite a few of us UK Military out here in Germany. There are a few 4WD dynos out here. In my honest opinion your better off using the companies in UK. However we are arranging for Bob Rawle of BR Developments to come out and do a possible group mapping session.

We have an organised group on SIDC. We sort trips to the Nürburgring, meets, Shows etc.

Also keep your eye on International on this site.
Any Questions or if you fancy a meet up just drop me a line.

Keep your head down matey!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I never really thought about heading up to the UK, but it would deffinately be worth it. I will have a few bolt-ons when I get back to Germany (APS 3" TBE, Cobb AP and heat shield) but I'm sure it won't be too long before I will need a tune. I have some serious plans for this car and it was really killing me knowing that there is a great tuning place back home that I probably won't see for a couple years. So, I am really desperate to find a good AWD dyno and someone who will be able to tune a TXS UTEC in Germany. Sounds like I shouldn't have too much of a problem. Hopefully I can find a site that will send parts to my APO address. :wonder: Anways, I think it would be awesome to come to a meet sometime and deffinately hit up the track. Besides the 'Ring, are there many places to race in Germany? Thanks again.

Looking into Oschersleben driver training days. Not too far south from me near Hannover.

There are your usual sort of things you would get upto in the states, such as 1/4 mile events etc.

In fact there is one in Hamburg in the middle of Sep, Stop over if you want. Hamburg is about an hour and fifteen minutes north from here.

I'm sure we'll have a few Imprezas and a skyline going up for that.

To find out if there is a dealer/tuner of your kit you could speak to this guy.
He can probably point you in the right direction.

how bout the "bahn"...lol

USDMSTi 25 August 2006 04:47 PM

The autobahn will deffinately be a blast. Before I deployed I didn't have a car there and only got a rental a few times, so this should be a blast.
