had a quick look, see the rad and air con rad but no oil cooler rad :wonder: :wonder:

whats a safe oil temp to get too, usually at about 90, what would be a turtle time then ?

There is an oil cooler

...water to oil cooler is right above the oil filter. Helps heat the oil when cold too :)

As said above. Its just above oil filter. Its cooled by coolant running through system.

but when the coolant is hot its no good !?!?!?

That why you have a thermostat that opens at 80degrees and radiator to keep it below 95degrees :brickwall:

Over-cooling oil is as bad as undercooling it. :nono:

Depends on outside temperature, driving conditions (ie track use, town driving etc...), and if it has an oil stat built into the system. The stock heat exhanger is usually fine for UK weather/fast road use. Start with an oil temp gauge, and if you regularly exceed 110-115 C then consider an air/oil cooler.
If you go for one, get one with an oilstat, to help you engine on cold start-ups.

well,i take it the water to oil cooler is to cool the oil filter ?

No it cools the oil passing through the filter.

IIRC your car has a remote filter? If so, it'll either have a take off point from the original factory stock filter location beneath the oil cooler (where the filter originally was loacted), or the remote take off kit could have replaced the original cooler, so you might not have one at all, whereas everyone else does.
