Any decent garages for my MX5?
 

Maybe you guys can help,

My MX5 ABS light has come on and despite a general clean up of the contacts leading into the ABS unit remains steadfastly lit up...

I'm a bit loathed to take it to a dealer as I have a feeling that my wallet will come back substantially lighter (I asked about a replacement ABS Unit and was told it was £1100!!)

Do any of you know of a reputable and knowledgeable mechanic or garage that could handle looking into this problem - preferably in the London or SE area?

BTW - I've tried MX5OC forum and got little feedback there (plus their site is down at the moment!)
