Tracker Problems !!

Hi All,

Is anyone having problems with their Tracker units ???

Mine which is 17 months old keeps saying there is a movement alert when the car is being driven,
doesn't happen everytime I drive it (Thankfully) but its been about 12 times in the last two weeks and its begining to pi$$ me off

Have been told by Tracker they are experiencing some technical difficulties with some of their units,
Anyone else getting this or is it utter crap ??

Cheers

Mark

:D :D

Which unit do you have? retrive, moniter or horizon.?

I have the monitor unit.

It does sound like a faulty unit to me, if it was wired up incorrectly then it would be causing the problem all the time. Speak to tracker UK and see if they can rectify the problem.

I had the same problem on mine, it had something to do with "smart charge" if I remember correctly:wonder: . Any way the installers then had to fit another box of some sort to the tracker and it hasn't happened since.
Or it is possible that it hasn't triggered again because it no longer works properly:confused: .

That sounds like the battery back up to me. They would have reset or re-activated the tracker unit after carrying out the repairs.

It has apparently been logged and a Tracker engineer will be in touch to look
into it for me.

Does sound more like a faulty unit rather than technical difficulties, why can't
these companies just tell the truth
