Newage 01-05 JDM inlets have varying degrees of TGV assemblies removed with the Spec C blobeye ones being single cast items and the fuel hose set ups are reversed.
Better? Well they are red and not plain alloy.
I've not seen any defintive testing done on the benefits of removing TGV assemblies - but then why have such a complex variation of TGV & TGVless bodies and wiring looms on the JDM inlets for no gain?
