Keeps reseting after wnidows update...?
 

Did a windows update on a XP Pro machine, reset once updates had installed, now everytime it gets to the screen where the xp logo comes up on boot it reboots again and keeps doing this over and over....

Any ideas why and how to sort??????

Boot up using the XP CD and system restore to a previous working point :thumb:

hmmm, if they have a restore point saved.... (customers pc..)

You could also try running a chdsk command from the recovery console. Has saved me a time or 2!!

Do you have winternals ERD commander ?

Boot into safemode if u can, n remove the last update, from add/remove in cpanel.
