Most coil overs are way too harsh for frequent road use!

When you say you're "in need" do you mean that your shocks and springs are knackered or you're just looking for an upgrade?

Std suspension is good, complimented with front and rear uprated ARBs, droplinks and a really good geometry set up, you'll have a great fast road set up.

If you can afford it, Powerstation's AST adjustable set up is getting rave reviews.

Have a word with 911 (Graham) on here he's done lots of homework on suspension and knows his stuff!

A set of P1 suspension is the best set up for the road, along with Whiteline goodies

My D1 coilovers are fine on the road :) and better on the track :D

IMHO:

For a road car you will not beat the confort/performance of Sti + Whiteline, especially P1 parts if in good condition.

You must also get an expert alignment as the Right Parts are poor if badly fitted/aligned.

AST's can be as good/better with 40/30 spring rates, but 50/40 rates are mustard, but the wife might not agree.

Graham.
