AP 6pots and 355mm discs...

Just testing the water here..;)

Anyone interested in a GB on AP 6pots and discs  (possibly 355mm) if the price was right..?

Been in-touch with a supplier who's willing to supply at a discounted price (although £££ is yet to be confirmed it should be a good deal).:norty:

I'll give this a week to see if there's any interest, updating with price once confirmed..;)

Playsatan 16 August 2006 09:18 PM

Would like to know roughly how much we're talking about. Would have to be 330mm disc for me though as I'm running 17's.

Think the last Godspeed g/b was £1200 delivered with all the extras (fluid, brackets etc)

scoobynutt 17 August 2006 05:17 AM

maybe interested pending price and package offered :)

st3ph3n 17 August 2006 09:29 AM

Probably out of my league, but I'm very interested.
330 for me too.

Phil 17 August 2006 09:45 AM

Price depending yes I am up for this

RA Dunk 17 August 2006 10:33 AM

im intrested 330ml disk for me as well , im on 17`s too

jasonius 17 August 2006 10:53 AM

May end up being the 330 kit after all. Should get a definate price by Monday (holidays).

Can someone confirm the last GB price so we have something to go on..?

J;)

Playsatan 17 August 2006 11:31 AM

This is an extract from the group buy in February, it's from Ian at Godspeed

HI

We do have offers on the AP caliper kits at the moment , we have reduced them by £100 per kit , if you get 5 or more I will discount them by £200 off the web prices , so the 335mm 6 pot kit will be £1200 and the 355mm kit £1300 , this includes DOT 5:1 fluid and delivery , can supply Goodrich braided hose kits front and rear at the same time for £60

These are total prices with nothing more to add

Hope this helps

Cheers Ian

Aztec Performance Ltd 17 August 2006 12:08 PM

The price of the Godspeed kit cannot be compared with others as it includes his own bells, brackets and rotors. Only AP part is the caliper.

V good prices though

Playsatan 17 August 2006 12:55 PM

This is from the same thread, from Ian also....

'Yes the 335mm kit will fit under 17" wheels , the 335mm x 32mm discs are our own , if you want AP discs they are 330mm x 28mm , we can do both these at the same price , our ones are more suited for track days / hard drivers as the thicker discs can take more heat. and you get a 12 month guarantee against warping with mine , you dont with the AP's. The braided hoses you have will fit onto the AP calipers'

jc scoob 17 August 2006 04:31 PM

I would be intrested in a price for these also, and i am on 17's aswell so it would have to be 330/335.

 :thumb:

Davey P 17 August 2006 06:03 PM

I may be interested, depends on the price.

jasonius 17 August 2006 06:47 PM

As soon as I get a price I'll let you know..;)

rb5 286 20 August 2006 02:15 AM

I have never spent so much money on a mod but every penny spent is WELL WORTH IT

Carl Davey 20 August 2006 09:54 AM

Must resist, must resist. :norty:

Will confirm pending price but the longer this waits the better for me as i'm off on holiday on the 25th. 330/335 kit to go under my 17's too.

<goes to sit on hands>

Davey P 20 August 2006 05:04 PM

RB5 286, where did you buy your kit from and was it part of a group buy?

Cheers,

Dave

alex_00s 20 August 2006 07:53 PM

I'm looking for the best deal on AP 6-pots with 362mm x 32mm discs (& pads, 5.1 fluid)... £1600+ is where I'm at... anychance I can reduce that figure?? :wonder:

jasonius 20 August 2006 10:42 PM

Please bear with me over the next few days as I'm having SERIOUS PC problems (currently typing this on a laptop that's in pieces spread out over the table. First time in two days that it's worked of sorts, however I think it's well FUBAR'd..:()

Things might be a bit intermittent until I can sort and configure a replacement.

If I've not posted by Weds can someone please take temp control of this GB and contact supplier to see what he's managed to sort out. Tell him Jason emailed hiw last week (explain my probs):

Sorry for inconvenience and thanks..;)

PS it'll be just my luck that we get a good deal, but I'll have to spend savings on a new laptop..! What would you do, access to SN or AP's..? I'd better not answer actually, safe to say, 'it's been nice knowing you all'..!;)

jasonius 22 August 2006 12:15 PM

Right, whilst I have access here's the reply from supplier:

quote;
"Jason,

I have heard back from AP, the following prices are based on that reply which is valid until the end of October.

The prices are for CP7040-1001R2:C12, that is the Red kit designed for suitable 18” wheels.

Prices are excluding VAT and delivery

1-4 £1,384.83
5-9 £1,246.35
10-19 £1,211.73
20+ £1,177.11

I hope this is useful, and please let me know if you have any questions

Obviously the VAT and P&P has to go onto this so I'm not sure how good a price this is..?

RB5 286, Where did you get your AP's..? Great deal IMO::eek:

"just for your reference....
I got my AP 6 pot calipers with 355mm discs supplied and fitted for £1400 all in (including Goodridge hoses).."
Thoughts..?

Playsatan 22 August 2006 01:22 PM

Too big for my 17's I'm afraid, and if vat and p+p is still to go on too pricey as well. Would need to be able to select a 330mm kit and have the price closer to the Godspeed prices to keep me in.

Aztec Performance Ltd 22 August 2006 01:30 PM

You could try CP5200 4-pot calipers which will take 330mm rotors.

alex_00s 22 August 2006 06:07 PM

I agree... RB5 pray tell, where did you get that deal from??

Carl Davey 22 August 2006 06:33 PM

As above i'm afraid, i'm looking for the same deal as Colin. Have you tried emailing Ian Godney?

Houghton 22 August 2006 08:05 PM

Have you seen the Wilwood g/b. Nice looking and good price. Don't know much about it though 'cept it fits under 17s
