what turbo to buy?
 

hi i am currently planning to change my turbo before a gems ecu and remap
my current spec is fmic 3"turbo back exh, uprated rods and engine rebuild,uprated fuel pump standard injectors (version 6 type r)
I can very very good discount on a turbo from turbo technics all i have to do is ring them up with a required spec. i would like to get as close to 400bhp as possible (safely) i am also thinking of hks equal length headers:wonder: :thumb:

Not sure but I've heard Andys TD05/6 20g's are good ;)

is there any spec on the above turbo/s as i can only really afford to get one from turbo technics:thumb:

or are these turbos standard on any other car?

nope not standard, they 20gs are generally good for up to 400 on pump fuel....

I recommend a turbo dynamics MD195 ;)

When I was running the 2 litre... I found the VF34 worked really well...
Made it a great car to drive, with the GEMS on it the anti-lag was a laugh... lol

wont get 400 bhp with a vf34

another vote here for the 20g , may only make 390 but its as close to 400 as you'll get without going crazy and suffering from serious lag
