Conrad: forgive me for the intrusion:

Do you by chance have a dccd contoller/ecu etc to install a dccd trans into a non dccd Sti v3?
I'm asking everyone I know on here.
Graham.

The Fixer 26 August 2006 09:47 AM

it defo will fit but u may need to uprate some things depending on what car you have

top notch engines are version 5 and 6

The Fixer 19 September 2006 08:52 AM

Yes it will fit but will require a few minor changes as the manifolds are different and thus the wiring. Can be done without too much hassle if you know what your doing :D Fitting can be arranged ;)

WayneG555 19 September 2006 02:39 PM

Well this is not something i would be doing so i would need someone to fit it!!!! Roughly how much would this be to fit into my car?

Thanx
Wayne

V6 , I always thought that the STi engines were a flat four ???

scud8 19 September 2006 09:38 PM

V6 is the version of the donor car (STI v6 was the JDM my99-00). It is a flat four.

Nate 19 September 2006 10:41 PM

Scud,

Do you think they'll ever make a V8 then ???

Thanks, didn't think it would be this hard to sell a version 6 my99/00 engine for sensible money :)

The Fixer 23 September 2006 02:23 PM

Blown your engine? Then is for you, fits MY99/00 cars no problem and can also be made to fit others :)
