AVOID Scooby Clinic's DOG CLYDE

:)

Hi all,

Went to scooby clinic on saturday as planned, Got to the village closest then my girlfriend was having problems with orientation of maps and stuff, went round in circles 3 times till i did the 'f**k it, im going this way' then low and behold a road name on the map :)

Gets there, meets adam at reception, i get confused and scared for a second with 'enthusiasm' from a person who is just about to service my car, im not used to that. :)

Car was straight into the garage and we went into the portacabin, to my shock and horror no leaf tea, had to make do with and crappychino and later a hot chocolate, so if i get fat and have a heart attack im sueing :)

Adam put on totb on, and my girfriend started to look sleepy :)

I could see my car from the cabin and had a little giggle to myself when i saw the fuse come out to do the turn over till oil presure light goes out jobby.

I could then see the mechanic starting to do the wheel allignment, so i went for a little walk arround, started to talk to adam in the yard and clyde the dog tried to do something unspeakable to my foot and adam looked duly ambarased :)

The allignment tolk ages and i could hear just about every nut unbolted and redone, i later found out that the allignment was one of the worst factory settings they'd seen :)

Car then put on the rollers thrashed to within an inch of its life :), made 297 on esso super and a ecu reset, im quite happy with that (238 atw). I can now see why people wave there fists at me when i go passed at full chat :)

At the point of paying i reminded adam that id won 2nd prize in the 'rally challenge' they ran, he tolk wipeing out all his profit on me quite well and in good spirit, and fetched the strut brace from stock :) ,i also bought some scooby clinic mats to ease the pain :)

Car is now running great and not so much understeer and a lot more predicable

Great job Scooby clinic, and thanks to adam (didnt meet kev, well i might have but didnt know i had :) )

things i forgot to get was a 1 ltr bottle of topup oil and my book stamped, i blame trauma from the 'Clyde' incident :)

No doubt if it had been a Rottweiler you'd have said 'Oh hurry up then':lol1:

Clyde can smell a biscuit at 40 paces and can hear it being unwrapped from at least the other side of the workshops. (even when the rolling road is in use)

Second tmo's comments about Clyde's hearing and sense of smell. Clyde can slobber for the Olympics, last time I was there he came in the cabin to drool at my sandwich and when he shook his head it went up the walls.

Just watch your 'taters'..:D

Sounds like the alignment was money well spent.

What is the charge for alignment at the Clinic?

Clydes your best mate, especially if he sees you carrying any food.

Here he is with my 5 year old son Jake :)

It’s the way he lures you into ‘the goodie shop’ that worries me !!!

I think it was £65+vat, most of my horrible turn in understeer has gone (still understeers a bit under heavy throttle), car still follows the camber of the road a bit, but atleast im not driving sideway on the motorway in the 'truck tram lines' anymore.

BTW Guys here is my RR result (esso super and a ecu reset)
