I've got one and its very good. I had a RA2 before and its far better due to knowing the speed limits of the cameras and the latest firmware means that the screen flashes red if you are above the limit or blue if below. It also looks nicer due to the smaller casing. I only paid £150 brand new for mine with the external laser detector, i got lucky on ebay!!:luxhello:

I've got a compact with the laser detector and it works really well.

What are you looking for in a detector, detecting static speed traps via GPS or detecting handheld via laser?

If your just after GPS alerts then get a Road Angel 6000

http://www.road-angel-uk.co.uk/road-angel-6000.htm

its got the gps database but has sat nav as well. If your after one then these are the cheapest, tell em mykp sent ya.
