Help with cleaning please.

At the momment I normally go to the jet wash to get the worst off then pop home give it another Shammy and clean all the door sills etc.. when happy I use auto glm super resin polish. In between washes I normallt use Mequires speed detailer and a micro fibre towl. It looks quite good but Looking at the polished Bliss site and reading a few threads in here I am after the super wet look and it seems the black fire products on polished bliss' site would be great for that which ones would I need and what else would be handy if some one could do a 1,2,3, for me that would be great as looking at the poished bliss site I am still mega confused, my Scoob is wrc blue.

Thanks John.

I recently purchased some of the blackfire range from polished bliss and all i can say is what a result never seen the car shine so well I wash it with autogylm bodywork shampoo shammy dry it then use meguires detailing clay to get the **** off then use blackfire gloss enhancing polish followed by blackfire wet diamond thats on a wrc blue impreza and 205 gti in cherry red and then if it gets a little dirty the blackfire deep gloss spray

Jdub 12 August 2006 10:18 PM

Cheers for that mate, just been reading through some more of the posts on here and narrowed it down to the following I think!

Mequires clay bar
Blackfire gloss enhancing polish
black fire wet diamond
wash mitt

Now what do I apply/remove the above with?:wonder:

rob84 12 August 2006 10:38 PM

the clay you use the spray that comes with it mist it on the rub the clay over the surface, the polish i used autogylm perfect polishing cloth but i am gonna buy a porter cable polisher as some people swear by them but you could look one the polished bliss website at there cleaning guides they are excellent if you like the car to be perfect i reccomend the blackfire deep gloss spray sealant you use it on top of the wet diamond if it gets a bit grubby

rob84 12 August 2006 10:43 PM

must admit i always used to use autogylm products as i thought they were the best until i used the blackfire and the results were amazing and the service from polished bliss was awesome will be using them again thats for sure

for a start I would ditch the chamos and replace with a waffle weave towel - I am sure PB will be along shortly with a how to guide.

I also use the blackfre products and there :notworthy

To Polished Bliss, you dont seem to have the aplicator pads in?

Rich @ PB 16 August 2006 12:01 PM

Due in today or tomorrow, latest shipment was delayed, hence why we've run out! Sorry!

Jdub 21 August 2006 12:02 AM

To polished Bliss,

Just Ordered the following from you:
Mequires quick clay
Blackfire gloss enhancing polish
blackfire wet diamond
german pad

You aint got any of the towls in though, also would you be able to give a guide as I have a hose pipe ban round my end so I have go to the jet wash at the minute is this a good solution as its a right pain or would you sugest a bucket and watering can or something.

Cant wait to try out the blackfire stuff,

Cheers John

Rich @ PB 21 August 2006 11:29 AM

Hi Jon, all packed and ready top go, just waiting for the courier. If I was in a hosepipe ban area, I'd be washing thecar every week using two buckets and a watering can, and I'd be going to the jet wash once a month to blast the arches out. All towels will be back in stock in a couple of days, they are stuck in customs at Heathrow just now! Many thanks for the order. :)

Jdub 21 August 2006 01:24 PM

Awesome Thanks mate.

Jdub 24 August 2006 10:04 PM

Arived back today to a nice box of cleaning products, they arived 5 mins after I left on Tuesday, great service Polished Bliss Cheers.

Well I cleaned the car this evening, with a lambs wool mit and two buckets and rinsed off using a watering can, what a pain in the arse!!(dam hose pipe bans).
Then I cracked open the Megs clay bay and clayed the whole car, it took quite a while longer to do than expected, I noticed that the most contaninats were at the bottom of the doors ,the rest of the car wasn't to bad.
Now on to the first coat of Blackfire enhancing gloss! managed to the whole car and then the clouds really came out and with the fading sunlight it was to dull to tell what I was doing so I put some gel on the tyres, autosoled the exhaust and wacked on the car cover, hopefully the weather will good tomorrow so I can finish off and try the Blackfire wet diamond!

So cheers again to polished Bliss, awesome service mate and cant wait for the sun to come out to see my Scoob gleaming!!:)

Regards John.
