Barnet Council Parking Tickets invalid
Mr Justice Jackson sitting in the High Court has ruled that Barnet Council's parking tickets are invalid as they do not have both the date of issue and the date of contravention on them. In his ruling Mr Justice Jackson also said that all parking tickets need to have both dates to be valid.
Clearly this is a most significant victory and it will impact upon many councils across the UK as many do not comply with the two dates requirement as laid down by the RTA. So, if you have got a ticket that doesn't have a date of issue and a date of contravention then be sure to appeal, it is the ticket that is against the law not your parking. |
But you have still parked illegally!!
Why is there now a culture of 'Blame someone else' 'Lets get-off the crime'??? Pete |
