16" Classic wrx alloys
Hi all,
I know it sounds bizarre, but what size tyres can I mount an a classic 16" alloy which would match up with the newage 17" 215/45/17's..? I'm looking at ALL widths and profiles. :wonder: Obviously I don't want to cause any diff issues, so would any small fluctuation in rolling diameter cause me future diff problems..? :( And finally, an explanation... the 16's are for use as winter wheels and tyres. :p Thanks in advance for your help..!! Nige. :thumb: |
Shouldn't make any difference to the diff - the important thing is that all 4 tyres have the same rolling circumference (plus the spare tyre).

Thank you kindly. Exactly what I was looking for. Now all I need to know is what is the narrowest tyre I can safely put on a 16" classic 5 spoke alloy. Cheers, Nige :thumb: |
Should be 205/55/16's I reckon, these came with my dad's leggy before fitting 17's which are 215/45/17.
Same size as the newage cars:thumb: Classic 16's are 205/50/16 |
