Anyone use an electric buffer?????
Out of all things in life, polishing the car is one of the worst. Does anyone use the above and are they worth it on terms of making the whole polishing experience much shorter? :thumb:

Just started using mine a couple of weeks ago (had it 3 years), Wouldnt be without it now. Espically in this warm weather, I used to sweat like a cnut polishing the car for hours on end by hand:mad:

Oooooooooo that sounds good. Where did you get yours? :)

Think the ex got it from halfrauds cost about £50. You can get cheaper ones but I hear they shake themselves apart:)

Aye, I use one, and they are absoluetly worth it. More advice here...
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...es_polish.html The Porter Cable 7424 dual action unit is the best polisher to go for - cheapies from the high street are fine for buffing, but crap for paint correction, and at some point down the line you will want to correct. There's a lot of threads in this section showing the results that can be achieved with the Porter Cable, some started by me, but also a lot by members who have invested and not looked back. :) |
scond that best piece of car care kit I have bought by miles!!!

Cheers for the help. That porter thingy looks great but is way out of my budget.
[scrooge] Was hoping to spend £30 or there abouts. [/scrooge] |
In that case I would save the money and spend it on products that work well by hand instead. :)

Never trusted electric buffer . . Always used the micro fibre cloth or a good old fashioned (as I like to call it) buff muff!:D
