Lots of scoobs around trafford park

i work in the industrial estate on ashburton road west, i was wondering where the hell does every1 go and meet? please dont say cads or smacs because its about 24 miles from here, isnt there a manchester scooby club?

Gillp95 04 August 2006 03:34 PM

I dont know of any other manchester clubs.:wonder:

But we are only a 20 minute drive away from trafford park. Autoroute says 15 miles. Wilmslow SK9 2LN

cong 04 August 2006 03:37 PM

sorry about 25 miles from where i live m44 5 still its not really part of manchester, more cheshire, hasnt any1 try to do do a manchester scooby meet only?

cong 04 August 2006 03:39 PM

middle of nowhere meet lol

cong 04 August 2006 03:44 PM

45 min drive from my house or 35 min from trafford park still not that close is it? there must be a manchester crew or meet

Gillp95 04 August 2006 03:51 PM

LOL... There might be some meets on the underground network scene..
We've got people coming in from the wirral, chester, salford and oldham. Because we are ace :thumb:
But otherwise, I dunno :(

Wait till everyone is home from work later on :)

cong 04 August 2006 04:02 PM

well i was planning to goto one of the meets but its nearly a 50 mile round trip which kinda puts me off

any scooby garage around here?

jaytc2003 04 August 2006 04:04 PM

iam from around manchester way M29 postcode, I have been to a few meets at the micklehead green but that is a fair distance away. Am tempted to go the smacs meets as it appears to be a well organized group with trips out etc, but again its a bit of a trek. I work in Hyde SK14 so I dont want to come home from work and then go back on the same route to a meet. A more local meet would be good for me, but I dont think it will happen. Maybe next month I will venture to the smacs meet.

jaytc2003 04 August 2006 04:05 PM

prosport in stockport, hyper in hindley green (both probably about 20 mins from trafford)

If you want carpark burnouts feel free to join The Cruz Scene (Boom, Boom, Boom):brickwall then you can shout "Mad For It":p

I'd rather just have a nice quiet meet in a nice pub in a nice area.:norty:

Then go out on drives and drive it like I stole it !!!!!:thumb: :thumb:

i do change every month . i change from sunny liverpool to a damp and drizzly car park in manchester:D and im quite happy with that thankyou.
in fact this weekend im even allowed out to play in north wales:luxhello:
still dont understand why mr cong dont want to drive his scoob over to meet us all though. we are a nice bunch of people, well most of us are especially the little bunch of people in the corner talking in the beautiful language that is known as scouse:thumb:

cong 06 August 2006 01:02 AM

lol maybe but i have to work as well then a 50 mile drive doesnt sound too tempting through the rush our traffic, but i use to be form the kent scoobies and they would change there meet every month to 2 diferrent places either bluewater or maidstone, it also attaracts people from different areas, i use to goto to the bluewater meets only because it was closer,

im sure your a nice bunch of people............................................ .............

loonies

maybe il will come, but at the moment im too busy for the 50 mile drive, i just moved in with a new job and new house so still sttling down thanks for the offer !!

cong 06 August 2006 01:06 AM

The empty trafford centre carpark near the motorway makes a great race track (so i'm told).:thumb:

well due to what mr cong say,s below i think that all the people (about 20-30ish) who usually drive to the unicorn on the 1st thursday of every month, (from all corners of the northwest i must add) should up sticks from now on and move to different locations spotted all over manchester(and werever else mr cong would like) to help him feel wanted in his new area that he now likes to call home:thumb: i know this may cause confusion amongst the ranks as a few of us still get lost going to the unicorn but hey he,s a new member and i think liz fancie,s him;) . come to think about it why dont we have the meet at his house and maybe we could help him decorate or flag the drive or something.
so come on smacs he,s a long way from his usual meet, lets all put our tools in the cars and a few beers and butties as well and go and make him feel wanted :D
hey it could be a new thing
