I-pod radio remote
Just purchesed an I-pod nano and was wondering if the radio remote is any good? Most places seem to be selling them for £35 are they worth the money?

Its the bit that plugs into the i-pod so that you can recive FM radio, are they illagal? they are for sale in all the high street shops:wonder:

They are not illegal to sell or own, but they are illegal to use (you're essentially transmitting on the FM band without a license).
I had one (not the one shown) and it was a bit poor to be honest. The ones with just a knob to tune are worse still; try and get one with digital tuning and an LCD display to help you. You need to find a 'blank' area on the FM band to use, and this will change as you move around the country so long trips can be a pain. Hard-wire is the way forward... :D |

He's meaning the connector that lets the ipod receive radio signals NOT the adapter that transmits a radio signal so you can pick up your ipod on a car stereo.
