Paypal scam
Nothing to do with scoobs but be aware.
Just had an email saying I had just paid $39.00 for 6 months subscription to Astalavista.net via Paypal. Then there is a Link to paypal if you want to dispute the purchase. When you click the link it asks for all your card details. This looks exactly like a paypal document Dont do it. Send the email to spoof@paypal.com and call them to make sure your account is safe. had one the same, called paypal and reported it.
just one rule they told me "paypal will NEVER have a link in the email asking you to login" they will never link to paypal from the email, they always ask you to go to paypal and loging. any type of link to paypal means fake email! now i know! |
