After it rains???

Hello most worthy followers of the Scoobynet!:luxhello: . . .A real ray of light, in what otherwise is a kingdom of DARNESS!:lol1: . .

So here's the problem . . Spent near enough 7-8 hours detailing my car . . .The highlight was 2 coats of p21S . . Car looked seriously sexy!:norty: . .

However . . . . . . .

Three days after detailing parked it overnight in the street, and being sod's law it had to rain in the middle of the heatwave . . .Rain stopped . .The beaded water on the car dried and left what I would consider a mixture of watermark and street dust:wonder: . . .Now it still looks shiny - but the beauty which was in the detail is now gone . . And at the same time, I can not be arsed to wash wax, detail my car so soon after its already been done . . (less than a week) . .:nono: . .Is there an easier way to restore it to its glory, without resorting to another 2 coats of P21S???

Your comments appreciated . . .And answers on a postcard!:D

The P21S is still there, just under a layer of dust. I try to always wash mine just after the rain has stopped whilst all the muck is suspended in the rainwater and will wash away very easily rather than when it's dried back on. Just wet it down, go over it with some suds and a lambswool mitt (2 buckets), rinse and dry. It will look as good as just after your detail session and take about 40 minutes if done with care.

Agree with above - if say it rained next day I would just blitz over with quick detailer as long as its only light dust but I always wash again to be on the safe side.

Totally agree with corradoboy - a quick wet wash will do the trick, and won't be much hard work. :)
