AVO inlet pipe possible surge issues?
 

I'd like to order AVO inlet hose for MY98 Impreza but I'm a bit confused because of my setup. MY98 cars have 80mm MAF sensor housing but mine has Nissan Q45 90mm MAF sensor. The thing I'd like to ask is if MY99-00 AVO turbo inlet pipe would fit to my car(MY98) which has a 90mm sensor already. I take a look at the pictures, there is not so much difference.

I'm also wondering about the possible surge issues. Could someone give some information about how to avoid surge issues? I have Super16G turbo and 90mm CAI on my car.

i had that exact inlet on my last car :D this wont cause surge if you get the inlet ported on the turbo!!! as for fitment im sure this will fit your car but will just need a bit more DIY efforts

Thanks Steve.. I'm sure my turbo outlet already ported but not sure about the inlet side =) I thought it is the valves that can not bring the improved air into to the engine.
