Very nice mate.:thumb: Is that 18inch Turinis you`ve got?
|
Very nice, can't say what you did was a bad move as already stated the P1's are getting on so why not upgrade to a newer model :) .
Any plans for it at all ?. Mark. |
Love it! :notworthy
|
yer, they are the 18" Turinis.
Its a jap import, with the twin scroll turbo u have probably seen it in the midlands i got it off a chap from Coventry, saw it on Pistonheads. Phil. |
You've made the right choice there m8, well done. Pity about the colour though :D

Very very nice matey
|
How would you compare the two?
|
you've done the right thing, seems like the P1 has a few problems from what i have seen on here. :thumb::thumb::thumb:
|
Compare, the Sti has a lot of extras so its hard to compare, because the P1 was about standard, but very impressed with the Sti so far, will report soon.

Very, very good swap there m8y! :thumb:

Stunning,
P1s are gorgeous but youve made a wise move IMO :D |
Rubbish. Classics rule (P1s, STIVs, RAs etc.). Newer cars are too heavy, too wallowy and too slow!
Few mods and the P1 will fly - personally would have spent a few grand on exhaust, remap, big brakes, lighter flywheel, lighter pulleys, some whiteline bits and guages. Will go like stink. Driver aids in Evos etc which are being added to new age cars make them feel too safe! (which is a bad thing... honest...). Also, if (or "when" for the doom and gloom merchants....) engine blows up it'll cost between 2.5-4.5k for a rebuild depending on spec - which is still cheaper than shelling out for a new age. Wouldn't mind a go in it though...:D |
Good to have a change mate.... looks top.
Can't keep same car for ever. Ive never driven or owned a new age, but im sure the extra refinements the years have added make it more useable day to day. |
good swap, if i had the cash, that is what i would swap to :D

Looks a stunner
I looked at getting out of my Type R for one, but didnt enjoy the driving experience... couldnt really feel what the tyres were doing and strangely, not the best sensation of speed  |
