International money transfer anyone know about it?
 

In the next few weeks i need to make a money transfer to my bank account to an overseas account that is also in my name... i need to find some way of doing this thats gonna give me the best rates as its quite a large amount... (it's going to thailand ftw and no it's not for a wife)

Any help would be appreciated

i can tell you about transfers into the UK...

Very good site although takes a few days to set things up, but have used it to move sums of money between US, UK and Australia, up to £120,000 at one stage, and never had an issue, with very good exchange rates (and far better than banks etc

First ring HiFX, get a rate to see how much it costs you in sterling, THEN ring Rational, and get a better rate :D
