Corporate gifts - legalities etc?
 

Hi All,

I work in sales, all above board nothing funny. However we do "give away" lots of freebies - they can be quite expensive freebies too, normally lcd TVs, laptops that sort of thing - these go to people who spend lots of money with us ofcourse!

My question being - is it legal, are the limits - do companies have to declare this sort of thing etc etc..............any info on the law/rules/tax of this stuff much appreciated!

It depends on the frequency of these gifts, but yes normally you do have to declare them to the taxman.
