W**king in London, i will be quiet for 2mins, seeing as i was quite lucky not to be caught up in it, i will be thinking of the 4 hours that i couldnt get hold of my Dad though.
|
Really wouldnt be surprised to see the b@stards do a follow-up bombing
Set the bombs off as the 2 minute silence is being observed or something. |
*makes note to get a really early train and then walk*
|
Like Petem said. Wouldn't suprise me in the least.

Fair enough, let's remember the dead, etc.
But where were the 2-minute silences for Warrington, and Birmingham, to name but two?:( Oh, sorry, forgot..........they aren't in LONDON are they? Alcazar |
Yeah - what about the Victoria bombing, noone remembers that London bombing either
|
At this rate we're going to be in perpetual silence!
|
Only 15 posts in a thread about a silence  this place is slipping :nono:
|
Tube wasn't busy this morning on my way to work, seems a few people rode on the side of caution
|
Arndale bombings too....
Radio 1 just had the 2 minutes silence, sounded like 30seconds to me |
Saint Ken Bigamy of t'Pool had a 2 minute silence.
On that basis a 104 minute silence should be held. |
We're being asked to remember the London bombings and none previous because it happened after 9/11 . Of course we have to follow our masters, the USA don't we. There'll be a statue of some "firefighters" from the good old "WFD" (Westminister (sic) Fire Department) erecting a Cross of St George flag within a couple of years at the "center" of "Ground Zero." A few not very well known architect/designers will be asked to tender vastly overpriced and abstract plans for a "more" permanent remembrance site. The most obscene will be chosen and when built much kudos will be afforded to the head of our Government at the time. Ladies and Gentlemen i give you our Prime Minister............ George Bush Jr .Er I mean Tony Blair.

The Brits only got involved because the Germans went through Belgium to get to France. Britain gave Belgium a guarantee in 1839 that if anybody attacked her, Britain would attack the attacker. |
Barry Beelzebub points out that if we have 2 minutes silence for 50 people killed in the london bombings then we'll need 17 hours silence in november for those killed in WW1. Good point (not sure of the maths though).
