Warped disc, spent pads, naff brake fluid, tracking, knackered tyre, wheel bearing???? You description is a little vague.

not much more can tell u

new discs, new pads, tracking is fine, tyres are fine, brake fluid is not any ol cheap stuff, bearings dunno but the thing is it is an intermittant problem do doesnt always manifest itself.

just sometimes under hard braking the pedal judders under my foot and has the same feeling when u just miss a gear when changing, and u get that horrible grinding noise.

ABS activating?

Sounds simular to what happens with mine sometimes, does it also feel like the pedal is being forced back on yourself ?

As same as above new discs, pads, tyres on mine. Can be quite scary at times and even done it after hitting a bump and taking off

Stamp on the pedal as hard as you can at 20-30mph.

Does the feeling feel exactly the same?

If so, Congratulations...your ABS works ;)

bigmiller 18 July 2006 10:03 PM

thats always nice to know!!!

had no idea the ABS would do that, i am guessing its a gd thing that it works but to me it doesnt seem like it should make that feeling underfoot.

yeh well scary, first time it happened wasnt sure the car was gonna stop lol

anyway thanks guys for info
