Food Hygiene courses

As above, where can you do them? how long are the courses? what sort of price will I have to pay to complete it?
Will it just be local colleges where I can do this or are there other places?
Turns out most jobs in childcare now require a food hygiene certificate.

Thankyou in advance :)

try your local Adult learning centre or college Tams.. I know the College of Foood and Tourism (why call it that??) in Brum do them , but its poss a bit far for you to travel, and its only available daytimes IIRC ;)

Contact your local Environmental health or local college. I'm qualified to teach Elementary amd Medium cerificate but I'm too lazy these days. :D Also Tourist Boards have info on local hotels/restaurants running them. Basic course is one day with exam at the end.

Thankyou Alas, I will get onto it tomorrow. I qualify in September, and have a child protection certificate behind me so this is just another thing under the belt.

:)
