new clutch ?
 
iv got a classic on a 98 plate when i pull away i get really bad judder any ideas what it could be is likely to the clutch ?

That happens with mine ( MY98 ) but goes when the car is warmed up,i think its bits on the clutch plates. If you try a search m8 for clutch judder you may find a better answer.

Yep. Standard problem with classics and even newage. The trick is to slip the clutch when acclerating to clean it up a bit.

My STI 8 sometimes judders when cold. I have read that a couple of maximum acceleration starts should help remedy the problem.

Same on mine MY00. Dread driving in slow moving traffic as its at its worse then. Ok if I can set off at a decent speed. Had an exedy fast road clutch + ally flywheel fitted recently and its still the same. Downside of a classic I think.

My MY99 Uk Turbo with 51k hardly judders at all. And its on the original clutch.
My old sti 4 with 70k and original clutch however, did used to judder when cold if you weren't consentrating! Just had to raise the revs abit.

took mine to subaru garage with same problem told me clutch was on the way out!
