Its a nice job youve made there made however i cant help but think it doesnt look right cos its not real carbon.

I'd of done it from real carbon overlay. Looks good that it all matches well though mate :D

Tacky

I had the full Nitosports kit on my Classic, Speakers, dash, doors, centre consul, air ducts, Gauge pod and steering column.
It all came on the car when I got it in 2001.

To be honest, I think you CAN do too much.

At the moment it is a feature in your interior. Be care full not to make it a theme.

Black and white burberry springs to mind!!!!

I think the problem is that it looks like fake carbon....just my opinion though.

there is no "real" carbon kit available,i dread to think how much a dash kit made from real carbon would cost to mould

Just dont think it looks as good as carbon overlay....i have a defi carbon pod which looks more realistic....http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...n/DSC00097.jpg

I fail to see the point in mods like this

Keep it simple inside - i have genuine momo gear knob, handbrake lever and autostyle colour coded mats and that's about it

i think you might struggle to mount gauges on a gear nob/handbrake and colour coded mat set:norty:

how long do people spend sifting through old post's ;)

rooferman-where and how much for your gauge pod fella ?

Sounds almost as pointless as a gearknob, handbrake lever and mats... it's not like they add much to the driving experience or performance!

I bought it second hand from someone on P1oc about a year ago...think i paid about £70...Think its a defi carbon look pod.

There are some on ebay for Gc8 at the moment, which look a similar finish to the Defi ones.
