I got my mine from Liverpool Port Auctions - No problems at all and damn good prices :)

what do you have tony, im looking to get a classic for hopefully something between 5 and 6k

RMA26 30 June 2006 10:14 AM

It's not far from me - I wouldn't buy anything from there!

GC8 30 June 2006 10:44 AM

Despite some posts recommending them; Id avoid docks auctions like the plauge (and like KTC). On the whole they sell low-grade and accident grade cars from Japanese domestic auctions, cars best avoided. Buy from an importer who can show you the auction appraisal sheet; you wont go far wrong with a Grade 4 car and youll know that the mileage is genuine.

at least if you buy off Scoobynet the chances are you will get an enthusiast who has looked after it - run it on Optimax etc etc. (most of the time)

Just because you get it from a dealer does not mean you will get a good 'un

remember they only have to give you 3 months warrenty.

I bought a right lemon - loads of problems - gearbox let go today:(

speed-demon 30 June 2006 10:56 AM

so its impossible to get a reliable car for this sort of money?

I was well dissapointed with Keighleys Stock, i really cannot understand how they are still in business, i honestly have NOT yet seen a positive customer feedback on Scoobynet or any other forum infact.
