Scoobyslammed 30 June 2006 09:25 AM

That looks mean... really like that...

SirFozzalot 30 June 2006 10:41 AM

Top ones are Turinis aren't they? Nice wheels! :thumb:

Second one looks fantastic! :notworthy

SC008Y_MAD 30 June 2006 03:30 PM

They are probably Scoobys taken in the States. The Yanks make their car looks really good. :notworthy

frayz 30 June 2006 03:54 PM

This car belongs to a guy called Paulie in the US. The turinis were fitted then he changed em to the milleniums :D

I love both wheels but cant decide which ones i like most :D

SC008Y_MAD 30 June 2006 03:57 PM

That is a tricky one.

Neanderthal 30 June 2006 04:03 PM

I can do a black car to white, but not white to black.
If anyone does it, could they explain how its done please :)

frayz 30 June 2006 04:04 PM

So c'mon Photoshop Gurus,

Black me up :D

SC008Y_MAD 30 June 2006 04:06 PM

I would say the alloys on the bottom photo to be different from other alloys.

Yes OK. I am a photoshop guy. White is a very hard colour to photoshop. I will sureley have a go just for you :D

frayz 30 June 2006 04:17 PM

Man that was quick!!

No then.... decisions decisions. hmm ?

SC008Y_MAD 30 June 2006 04:19 PM

I think bottom pics alloys. The turins are far to common on Impreza's. Be different and be proud to be Different!

frayz 30 June 2006 04:21 PM

Oh im proud to be different mate but the turinis look so stunning on black

Paulo P 30 June 2006 04:23 PM

This is amazing :notworthy I'd normally pick turinis over any wheel but with that rear spoiler and the colour these work much better. I love that.

I know mate but its gotta go on this, do you think they would work as well against the black, or do the turinis work better?

frayz 30 June 2006 04:29 PM

Im still thinking of emulating paulies car with the bonnet vent and overhanging spoiler.

Do you guys think it would work as well on the black???
:D

Sh!t that is a well cool ride. :notworthy

SC008Y_MAD 30 June 2006 04:36 PM

That White Impreza works slightly better than maybe on a black. Also white Scoobs look more technical, more race/rally style than say a black scoob. Thats not to say that a black scoobs can't look like that.

Maybe chage your front prodrive bumper for the non prodrive sti version, like the white ones.

No way dude that bumper is rare as rockin horse sh1t :lol1:

Its bad enough me trying to make my mind up about rims

SC008Y_MAD 30 June 2006 04:48 PM

Sorry. Forget what I said.

SC008Y_MAD 30 June 2006 04:49 PM

Frayz, what is your gut instinct on what alloys? Or what was your first opinion on the alloys.

Well ive looked at loads of rims inc tarmac spec rally and jap street race.

Ive looked at OZ, ADVANS, Work, Enkei, 5Zigen, Speedline, Compomotive, Revolution. etc in bronze, black, white gold etc.

But i keep coming back to these 2 rims. People say the Turinis are common but actually how many people have them.... not an awful lot.

So many more people have rotas, prodrives, oz's or dare i say the PFF7!!!

I love em both, the Turini looks bigger as it goes all the way to the rim, it would probably be lighter too but i still cant find out a weight spec for em.

The revolutions are really rare and very striking, i love their exclusivity over the speedlines but like i said how many people really have em. I Belong to the ESC (Essex Scooby Crew) which has a monthly cruise that regularly sees over 80 cars and not one of em is wearing a set of Turinis!!

Mo 30 June 2006 05:06 PM

The Turinis without a shadow of a doubt, the Milleniums just don't look right on a black motor going with the psd effort above although the do look very good on Paulies.
