I use the Sony HD3, think they have a HD5 now. Very good and the Sonic Stage software from Sony I find easy to use.
Get them cheap on Ebay if you keep an eye out:thumb:

What's your budget?

Zen, Creative, iPod, iRiver, Sony thing, loads to choose from.

60GB iPod played through an Alpine head unit in the car....subwoofer on, bass set to +4 and Slayer sound awesome as do Machine Head, Slipknot, Cradle of Filth, Roadrunner United, (early) Metallica and Mastodon :thumb: I think the windows might fall out though :)

Bought mine from the Apple store and it arrived in two days, shipped from Rotterdam.

I rather like the Cowon range myself, I bought Mrs C an iAudio 5 for xmas last year: 1GB flash, drag'n'drop so no software required, takes standard AAA batteries. It has both microphone and line inputs, and sounds great.

They do hard disc based players too if that's what you're after.
