It seems to always get like this after I wash the bleeding thing too.
Would you guys say its the water doing this. I have an induction kit so I'm guessing it could be the water.

On my old RS I had a S/Steel cover under the offside vent on stand-offs to shield the induction kit. Are these available for the Impreza.

Might have to make some up.

Have you removed the cover plate on the off-side bonnet vent?

No cover + cone filter = soaked filter and wet MAF sensor :nono:

Was'nt aware there's a cover available for this model.

Gonna make up a nice s/steel one tomorrow me thinks, before any real damage is done.

Ah yes, it'll have the slats then. Can't remeber if they had covers or not (can't say I bothered looking ;) ).

The later meshed oned just had a blanking plate on them so I presumed the earlier ones did too.
