Aside from looks can anyone tell me what are the optimum wheel and tyre dimensions for a MY01. The standard MY01, new sti and UK300 all have different wheel/tyre configurations. Is there a reason or is it predominately cosmetic.

Also, what about spoke design. Is it again pretty much down to looks or do some designs actually have functional benefit (e.g. pulling heat away from the brakes).

Lastly, the standard MY01 wheels seem to be nicely designed to invite kerbing. Which wheel/tyre combinations are more risk averse here?
