Cheapest Broadband supplier

I am after 1-2MB and wondered if anyone knows if there are any deals cheaper than Tiscali at £12.99/month?

I have read a few negative reports on Tiscali and thought I would look around. Have checked the price comparison websites too and dont seem to be able to find a better deal with the exception of euro1net or something (£9.99/month with free local and national calls - Also on top of your BT line rental), however I am sceptical with this company as you have to pay 18 months up front and I have never heard of them - They could go bust next month so I dont fancy it.

Any other suggestions?

Cheers

Pipex have a similar deal, I think a bit more expensive, but I've had no probs with them for over 3 years now.

Are the Pipex call charges cheaper than Bt with respect to chargeable calls?

Cheapest is not always a good idea, I had lots of trouble leaving my old ISP. Learnt the lesson the hard way.
