Anyone run 235 wide tyres on a classic

Other than rolling the arches - anything else I need to consider? Will be fitting to 17x7.5 rims with ET48

Cheers

Terry

Ride height?
Will the inside edge of the tyre rub on suspension spring?
Id like to run wider tyres on mine (for hillclimbing) you reckon a 235 will go?
I thought a 225 would be pushing it.
cheers

I'll let you know tomorrow mate when I get them fitted.:D My P1 wore 225s with no fuss and my RA has too.

I have measured about 9.5" from the wheel arch to the spring and 235s are 9" wide - so it will be tight - fingers crossed :D

8.5 for 235 terry same as mine ;) if its a small rim you'll have to watch for tyre movement on the rim when corning fast
