Advent Medion MID95278 notebook

Evening all

I have a fairly new Advent Medion MID95278 notebook however when I charge the battery up (seems all ok) when it drops back down to about 95 % (5 mins or so) it switches off like the battery is dead.

I have tried a new battery to no avail. Anyone know what the problem could be?

thanks in advance.

yeah, as said, disable all the powersaving settings in control panel.

disable hibernation mode and screen savers and then see what happens!!!

If this fails then sounds like a faulty batt, could be it has a memory effect and not charging fully, might be worth running it down a few times and recharging it or you need a new one!

right hand click on the desktop, select properties, then select screen saver tab and click on power button near the bottom set all the options for NEVER
under power schemes for all options!!, then click on the hibernate tab and disable hibernation.

and give this a try.

good luck !!
