Dinner around Heathrow?

Hello

I have to take someone out to dinner tomorrow night somewhere around Heathrow. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Spearmint Rhino ;)

Seriously though give us a hint at what you're after...you can go from the Fat Duck at Bray which is one of the best restaurants in the country, if you can get a reservation and is very expensive through to decent curry and chinese places etc..

It must be on expenses ;) ... off to see Heston then :D

Hello

It is on expenses, yes! But it is for an American so anything too fancy is just wasted and I'd be embarassed at the loudness :) .

Not Indian as we did that last time.

Thanks!

Terrazza in Ashford (Middx not Kent)

Incredible Italian food (wild boar etc) but I hope it's on expenses as it will be pushing £60-£80 per head

How close to Heathrow?

Theres a chinese down the round (literally) which I heard is good, but quite expensive. London HongKong I believe its called.

Depends what your after.

If he's American he might fancy The Ostrich Inn in Colnbrook - supposedly the 3rd oldest pub in the UK and the food is pretty good - high end gastropub I would say..

If he's staying over get him to sleep there as it's supposedly haunted :)

Heathrow Express into central London.

Hello

Thank you for your replies, I have just come back from The Ostrich as recommended above and it was good. The food was well presented and it was a nice place to show an American.

Thanks.
