T Mobile MDA Pro with Co. Pilot
Out of interest does anyone have this phone / PDA?
Is it any good? Whats the co pilot like? I'm thinking about getting one and want to know what its like with email, attachments and even phone calls. Would blackberry be a better option? Or are there other option open to me. I'm on T Mobile and won't be changing. Thanks in advance Esh |
No and No.
But I have the T mobile MDA Vario. Running Tom Tom. Does this perfectly. It is a very handy device that is a lot smaller than the PRO. A colleague has the PRO and to be honest I think it is just to big. Although it does have bigger screen. check out the xda developers forum for more info. |
Cheers Nikko,
I've looked at some review and yes the Vario is the better model but it isn't listed on T-Mobiles site. Do they provide it? Can I order it through them as its easier for me to do it over the phnoe = delivery. Regards Esh |
I bought mine from a T Mobile store as I passed.
Its a nice little all in one device but has a few probs. Its also known as a Wizard or Kjam, as well as many other names. :wonder: |
I'm with t-moble and have had the MDA compact I for over a year and have just upgraded to the MDA compact II.. I used tomtom 5 on the MDA I without any trouble and as a PDA its great. Its about the size of a 20 pack of fags so its just the right size to use as a phone as well, without looking to stupid :freak3:
so I'd recomend the MDA compact but I haven't used the co pilot but i'd guess it wouldn't be much different to any other sat nav software.. |
I've got it
Phone and pda are pretty good and there are loads of great programs around to enhance it. Only bad thing is that Orange now do the M600 which is the upgrade to the compact 2. It is 400mHz and has a built in Wi-fi card for extra connectivity. Co-pilot is ok - dont really use it much |
Orange now do the M600 |
another vote for mad vario & tomtom
