Cookie :)

djliveasy 28 May 2006 07:48 PM

its a leather look vinyl, a metre by 54inch £15. really impresed with the look of it.

Scoobyslammed 29 May 2006 12:01 PM

Looks awesome... very nice mate... looks like alot of effort has gone into it...

djliveasy 29 May 2006 01:51 PM

yes a fair bit of effort, lots of late nights and a few cans of beer, but i think it was worth it.

^^very nice install :)

joey_turbo 06 June 2006 11:39 AM

Excellent job. At first I thought the battery was staying bang in the middle of the install. Where is it now? Spare wheel recess?

Neil W 06 June 2006 01:55 PM

That looks great! Must have taken a while but no doubt enjoyable!

djliveasy 08 June 2006 03:14 PM

yes in the wheel well with another false floor over the top.

Excellent.

One thing is you will have no problems with ear wax now !!!!!!!

djliveasy 11 June 2006 05:46 PM

ive already got tinnitus , i put it down to the years of silly sound systems. but still i carry on buildin bigger and better, only myself to blame. o well turn it up. :cuckoo:

dazzr1 15 June 2006 11:29 PM

that looks lovely mate:thumb: really good job, just wondering how much dynamat it took to do the booy, how much it was,
cheers

djliveasy 16 June 2006 12:03 PM

8 rolls of dynamat at about £22 a roll, but that was doin up the wheel arches into the rear quarters and the boot lid. its a much needed part of the system.:thumb:

Sweet job! :luxhello:

djliveasy 04 July 2006 05:30 PM

ive kept a few measurments but to be honest alot of it has been guess work, its just been a case of cut the wood if it dont fit cut another until ive been happy with it. just sort of made it up as ive gone along.:thumb:

gotmashed 04 July 2006 06:34 PM

very nice how ever i cant bring my self to fill my boot with half a ton of mdf but still that looks good all most make me want to :)

Criss 05 July 2006 12:35 AM

looks lovely, wish I had the talent to build somthing like that! I had to settle with a few bits of mdf and tacks to stop my sub falling about, looks ok, nothing as neat as that though!

djliveasy 06 July 2006 11:58 PM

cheers for the comments lads:thumb: . its not took to much talent just alot of time, effort and a bit of DIY skill and all the right tools. it just sort of comes together when you get started.

scooby51 02 November 2006 05:04 PM

both installs look class guys 12 outta 10

job well done

we'll have to see if we can arrange a sound off for a later date!!!!????!!!

djliveasy 02 November 2006 05:42 PM

ive not got sound out of mine yet i'm havin trouble wiring the second alternator to run the system, im sure i'll get there soon.....

scoobysmiff 02 November 2006 06:17 PM

looking real cool is that, i like the colour scheme and the slightly offset subs is class :thumb:

Ben v7 02 November 2006 06:56 PM

That is an awsome install. Looks fantastic and quality gear all round with the Rockford's etc. I used to have a big boot install in a previous care that I fitted a bit like yours - never achieved that level of finish or quality. Very impressive work.

Did you really need the second battery and alternator? Would of thought you could have coped with just the capacitors? Then again on some cars it's just a question of fitting the diesel alternator - guess that's the issue is it, no uprated alternators available so had to use two?
