Definately one of the sensors. Try doing an ecu code check for an idea of which sensor it is. Does it start okay when warm? With the fans kicking in so soon it could be the water temp sensor it does happen.

Do a search on here for saxonfield (think thats the name of the site) it is a website that tells you how to read for error codes on the car by connecting some connectors under your dash

just went out to the car. tried top start it, fans came on as soon as i turned the key, but it wont start, it was like the battery was drained, could it be the coolant sensor, ive tried looking for the wires but there are loads of them under there, immo and alrms etc, there is also what looks like a switch for something

does sound like the temp/coolant sensor, if your fans on then the sensor is saying the temp is hot which means when you crank it over you will not be getting enough fuel in there as in reality the engine is cold so needs more fuel.

|The wires you need are 2 black conectors and the 2 green conectors. If they havent been used before they are usually taped up nr the steering coluum

where is the coolant sensor. is it just a case of swapping it over, can i do it myself,

I've had a similar issue.....

does it do this ?

BUT, I have not noticed the Fan cutting in....

If I switch off the ignition and back on again it seems to 'reset' itself and ALL is well

.... but if the answer becomes clear, i would also like to know......

:D
