turbo timers

very simple - how the hell do you turn one off!

i picked up my type r today and it has a turbo timer installed. So I sit at the petrol station after a 2 miles hike across town and then wait 90 secs for the engine to stop.

is there a simple way around this??

Depends how it is wired. A s a safety / anti-theft measure they are normally wired so that when you release the handbrake the engine should turn off. Hope this might help Steve
