Exhaust bung

Anyone used one of these?

Rather than chucking more money on exhaust components, i thought i could use one of these (from H&S) when motorway miles/the wife is driving (she commented today, she was embarrased by the noise ) and then take it off for me.

Any problems with using one?

Quite straightforward.

Get one that fits perfectly though. Removing/fitting normally involves one or two bolts

i could be wrong but if yer cars been mapped with out one (providing yours has bem mapped) and you put one in anyway dosent it interfere with exhaust flow?

i think theres something along those lines anyway going by a thread i read a while back i could be wrong though

im sure somebody with more info will post soon as im thinking about doing the same once i fit my decat D/P

Mine has been mapped, without it though.

Does anyone know if it will cause any problems? H&S mentioned that there will be a slight drop in performance, but that's fine by me. But i don't want any "other" problems...

Would i have to use the "Low" boost setting then while the bung is used?

Speak to your mapper but I doubt it
