Lifting a wheel?

Anyone had their newage lift a wheel when cornering?

Mine seems to do it at relatively low speed on a uphill hairpin - don't know it is happening until it screeches the tyre on touchdown.

It this just because of the stiff chassis?:wonder:

Have had old and newage Scoobs lifting inside wheels while cornering, in particular on a series of uphill hairpins up Applecross way (NW Scotland). I'm sure there's a few others on this forum who would say the same thing over the years.
It's not just the stiffness of the car, but the speed of corrnering vs stiffness (grin). The Scoob can get round those hairpins safe enough quite quickly, and that's going to lift the inside wheel.

Can happen on tracks too at hairpins, more noticeably on Scoobs with the Prodrive (or other) Spring kit fitted.

All good fun (big grin)

Martin.
