Scoobynut : are you sure you want a 24mm ARB ? apparently the larger of the ARB's has adverse effects on the car for normal road use, sorry I am assuming this is a road car and not a track car !

I will get a price on the front ARB for you and vj_sti mate and post it up! :D

Playsatan 25 May 2006 09:01 AM

Is the price for the arb for the adjustable one? Tempted if it is.

borat52 25 May 2006 10:28 AM

I'm about to give the handling a complete overhaul on my car, new springs and dampers and the full whiteline treatment,
Is there any downside in going for the adhustable arb's?
Also should I be adding any more kit ather than arb's drop links and the anti lift kit as I want the whole job done in one go?

Hi Borat,

Looks like you have covered just about everything mate, what springs and Dampers are you going for ?!

You can go to the other extreme and have the Geometry setup so the car handles even better, the down side to this is that it will munch tires!

There is no downside to having the adj 22mm ARB fitted as this can be adjusted to suit your needs.

Stealth 25 May 2006 11:03 AM

Playsatan - Yes mate the price is fo the adj ARB :)

scoobynutt 25 May 2006 12:01 PM

hi stealth yes this is a road car im guessing 22 front and rear would be ok then for fast road use and the odd track day :)

also what are the adverse effect with going to the 24 rear bar :)

Going for a set of prodrive proffesional spings and dampers, they cost a fortune but I know I wont be able to live with coilovers and I hear they are the best off the shelf suspension for a classic - mine is shot with 60k miles on it. Going to take it to powerstation for fitting and geometry when I have all of the kit.

Stealth 25 May 2006 01:00 PM

Useless - nope sorry mate no price for the non adj bar, I dont think there would be enought interest in them mate what with the adj one being available

Borat - YHPM

BTW there are three different ALK's that Whitleine do KCA319A and KCA319M and KCA361. One is comfort, one is race, what's the other one? And which one is which?

Stealth 25 May 2006 09:22 PM

silent running - Good question.... I wasn't aware that thee were three, the anti lift kit that you guys are looking to buy has the part number of :

KCA319A for classic
KCA359 for new age

Cheers

********************ADDED PRICE**************************

The price on the Front ARB is the same as the Rear ARB - £95

************************************************** ******

Stealth 25 May 2006 09:26 PM

Scoobynut - The 22mm ARB is perfect for road use and is adjustable to give you the handling you require, the 24mm bar is uber harsh on the car and you will feel everything and will undoubtably causethe car to be skittish!

Stealth 25 May 2006 09:29 PM

OK all prices have been posted up, could you all please confirm you want what you have posted as above and then I will give you all the destructions on what to do next as we now have enough numbers to get the kit in

Ta

Tony
